Review: 17 Lasting Fix Lipstick - New Black

Not such a focused photo but the colour is accurate

Using the lipstick as a stain on the bottom lip

They say ~ 17 Lasting Fix Lipstick provides long lasting, non-drying coverage for your lips that lasts up to 4 hours. Dermatologically tested. Fragrance free.

I say ~ The lipstick does have a scent but its really slight and is just the normal lipstick scent. Its got to be said that the lipstick is really long lasting, I wore it for about 5 hours before it needed a top up. Its nicely moisturising and is very pigmented although using it as a stain you could easily wear it as a day time colour. It is a nice deep burgundy, purple-y, wine colour.

I think it is quite similar to the MAC dark deed or cunning but seeing as I don't own either of these I can't really do a proper comparison.

  1. Awwww nice!!!! I have Cunning and it does look similar. Cunning goes on really sheer on me though and I have to swipe a couple times to get that really dark colour. It's gorgeous paired with Nightmoth lipliner from MAC.

Also....I used Nightmoth this morning with SLeek's Pout Polish in Perfect Plum and it had the same effect that Cunning has after it wears off a little. This looks gorgeous though!

  2. I love your piercing! I used to have my top lip done but it was causing me a few problems after having it in for a few years, so I retired it sadly :(

It's a lovely colour on you, really suit your skin tone and I loved the halloween pic!!! Xxx

  3. @ zebyk Thanks! I've had it for about 10 years now, I wear a bioplast stem so not to end up with gum erosion or tooth chipping. Not sure if I am brave enough to wear it out but it really is a nice colour. Glad you liked the halloween pic! Lol!
