Review: Moroccan Oil

They say ~ Moroccan Oil treatment is an ultra-light formula which is absorbed by the hair instantly, resulting in a natural, silky finish and brilliant shine without leaving a residue.

My hair type
Naturally (almost) straight, thick
32" long
Dark Brown / Black - dyed

What do I think ~ Being the cheapskate at heart I didn't buy this, I used some of my tesco clubcard vouchers over on BeautyExpert instead!

At first the concept of using oil on my hair confused me as I imagined it would make my hair oily. However it is actually quite a good product. It really speeds up drying time which on my thick, long hair is great. Smoothed flyaways and potential frizz, added shine all without making it greasy or oily. The scent is quite distinctive but not of oil or anything repelling.

Is it up to the hype? Yes it is a good product
Is it worth the money? Not in my opinion, there are cheaper products on the market of almost the same standard, such as the VO5 Miracle Concentrate.

  1. Being a bit of a cheapskate I havnt brought this either, but my fine bleached hair could do with some care every now and again especially when i curl or freshly bleach it. Glad that you find the vo5 just as worthy at a cheaper price. Thanks for the review x
