Review: Rimmel 25 Hour Foundation - True Ivory 103

This is a bit of a follow up to a previous post about Rimmel's 25 Hour foundation.

I still stand by everything I said in that review and the only reason why I gave it 9 / 10 was the colour didn't quite match my tone. Since then I have discovered Rimmel have brought out a new shade 103 - True Ivory which is lighter than 100 Ivory.

Product Free Skin                    True Ivory - 103
As you can see my skin is in dire need of a good foundation at the moment! I applied the foundation with my fingers here, without primer. With a concealer I could have easily covered all the imperfections. As I like a matte finish I would set with a powder and that will get rid of the sheen and give a little more coverage.

+ Medium to full coverage
+ Long lasting
+ No SPF so great for photos
+ Fast drying but not as fast as Revlon Colorstay
+ Cheap, even for a 'drugstore' foundation

- Shade range is poor
- Packaging could be improved as pump doesn't get all of the product out
an airless pump bottle would be better
