Review: Skin Hair Nails - Holland and Barrett

I have been asked a few times if I take any herbal pills for my nails or hair. I have tried various ones in the past to try and help my nails, and this is a review for Skin Hair Nails 60 caplets from Holland and Barrett.

Skin Hair Nails
What is it supposed to help with?
"A nutritious and well balanced supplement to support the health of hair, skin and nails. This 3-in-1 tablet contains the important antioxidants Vitamin A (from Beta Carotene), Vitamin E and Selenium"

What did I notice it doing?
I didn't notice any difference in my nails or hair with these ones. What I did notice was my skin, ever so slightly more vibrant I doubt anyone else would have been able to tell though. To me though it felt better and looked less sallow / dead!

The pill size isn't too big, around 2cm long, I struggled to swallow these with water. I took one a day for around six months, you are supposed to take .

Does contain gelatine which makes it not vegan or vegetarian friendly which is one of the reasons I won't be repurchasing. These aren't diabetic or hypoglycemic friendly either.

(I wasn't using any nail treatments or strengtheners while taking these pills)

£7.69 - 60pcs
Holland and Barrett

I'm not a chemist or a herbalist, these are my opinions and if you want to try any medication do check with your GP or someone working in Holland and Barrett. I wouldn't want to harm to anyone!
