At first I found this cuticle pen to be very hard and little product came out, after using it a few times the nib softened and this helped the oil to come out. So do keep persevering with it as it does get better with more use.

I like to use a cuticle oil such as Leighton Denny's Slick Tips or Lush's Lemony Flutter but they are quite messy and that is where this pen comes in useful. It only dispenses a little bit of product which is quickly absorbed and doesn't run on to your finger tips and cover everything in oil.

I wouldn't use this as my only cuticle oil, but it is good for on the go as it isn't messy. More of a day time cuticle oil than a night time / intensive one. I didn't find this had any scent to it.
