Nails: Top 5 Autumn / Fall Polishes 2021

As autumn arrives today I thought I would share my top five autumn / fall nail polishes.
I have done similar posts in 2020201920182017201620152014, and 2013.

A England - Gloriana // Aj Nails - Venus // Barry M - Matcha // Barry M - Espresso // ILNP - Eclipse

A England Gloriana is a metallic rust orange shade which reminds me of autumnal leaves.

Aj Nails Venus a polish which is new to my collection but it is a duochrome polish shifting between bronze and gold with a slight green shift.

Barry M Matcha is a army green cream polish which is nice for autumnal skittle nails.

Barry M Espresso, another new to my collection polish. Espresso is a dark brown cream polish, you can tell it is a brown and not black on the nails which is nice.

ILNP Eclipse, one of the first red to black shifting polishes from late 2020. Dark and shifty, something which is distracting watching the shifts on the nails.

Topic Tuesday: Favourite Colours for Autumn

I prefer the more traditional darker polishes that are around in autumn. Colours I tend to learn towards are darker reds, and sort of the colours the leaves go in the autumn.

Nail Polish Battle 2017: Orange and Red

Today I am looking back over my orange and red polishes from this year, I have seven polishes for this category.

Barry M - Papaya // Barry M - Satsuma // Barry M - Blood Orange // A England - Gloriana // A England - Rose Bower // Nails Inc - Marylebone Lane // Leighton Denny - Infatuation

Firstly I began by selecting my top three;

Blood Orange is more of a red based polish than a orange as the name suggests. Vibrant and bright red cream polish.

Gloriana is a shimmer burnt orange type of shade which I really liked for autumn, and is very unique in my collection.

However out of the three I particularly liked Rose Bower, a rich berry holographic shade. Which is why Rose Bower ended up being the winner of this round.

First up is Hare Polish Midsummers Midnight, this is a glitter which can be layered up or worn as a topper. It is a deep purple and green glitter polish in a blackened base. This is good for Halloween, I imagine that any purple or dark glitter would work well for this time of year.

Second is Leighton Denny Blueberry Bloom, a deep maroon shimmer type polish. It is dark with a twist so not as harsh as a straight up black coloured polish. The shimmer in this really makes it stand out.

Thirdly is A England Gloriana, a beautiful burnt orange glass flecked shimmer polish. This one is perfect for autumn, as the temperature begins to drop the leaves on the tress begin to change colours and I think this reflects that season change. Great for Halloween too!

The forth polish is Nails Inc Hyde Park, a repeat from last years choices, it is a muted cameo green cremé shade. Again it is reflecting the changes in nature at this time of year.

The fifth and final polish I have chosen is Laquerlicious Burnt Marshmallow, the brand is now known as Polish M. Burnt Marshmallow is a milky white base with various sizes and shades of brown, orange and black glitter. I like this for this time of year because while it is white it is also full of darker glitters which are nice for Halloween. The colours in it do remind me of burnt marshmallows.

Have you got any favourite polishes for autumn / fall?
