Pick n' Mix 52 Week Challenge: 1960's Matte

I had originally planned on using a stamping plate to stamp this design, however I was having one of those 'everything I try fails' days so ended up free-handing the design with acrylic paint.

Nails: Pokemon - Poliwag, Diglett, Jigglypuff, Pokeball

I used A England's Encore Margot as the base and everything else is freehanded acrylic paints.

This is without the sticker and without topcoat, sometimes photographing polish / nail art is difficult with a very shiny topcoat.

And finally a close up of Diglett, Poliwag and Jigglypuff.

Hope they semi-resemble the actual characters!

Nerd Nail Challenge: Star Wars

I haven't actually watched Star Wars, so finding inspiration and actually knowing what the characters look like took some effort.

Time Period Challenge: 1960's

I decided to do rock and roll nails today as for me that is what the 1960's were all about. Rockabilly!

ABC Nail Challenge: G is for Ghoulish

G is for Ghoulish, so I may be pushing it a little with the Ghoulish theme here but I just had to share these nails. This is part of the ABC Nail Challenge being done over at Llama Nails. Originally they were to be entered in a competition but I must not have done enough stamping for that. Anyhow, on to the nails...

Anyone remember these?

Meg and Mog was originally a set of children's books, but apparently later on it was turned into a cartoon. I must be a bit old to have known about the cartoon but I do remember the books.
