Stamping Plate: Bundle Monster 204 (BM204)

bundle-monster-204-BM204-review-stamping-plate

This stamping plate is from the second Bundle Monster set, from 2011. It is backed with branded lining to stop it from being sharp. This is useful, without it it is easy to slice open your fingers and palms which I have been known to do accidentally in the past with other branded plates. Then again I am very clumsy.

This stamping plate has six images, four of these are full nail images and the other two are single images. All of these stamped well other than the bottom right fan image. This is another one which I think would stamp better if I scraped the polish off with a more gentle scrape.

33 Day Challenge: Something from Pintrest

I saw a photo of Pintrest and thought I would try my hand at it, and these nails are the outcome of that attempt.

Review: Lush - Lord of Misrule

review-demo-lush-bath-ballistic-lord-of-misrule-christmas-2013 review-demo-lush-bath-ballistic-lord-of-misrule-christmas-2013

This bath bomb, named after the ruler of the Pagan Feast of Fools, has a strange and magnificent fragrance created by Gorilla Perfumer Simon Constantine. This bomb will slowly dissolve to reveal a wine coloured centre, with the added sweetness of the world’s first fair trade vanilla absolute, perfectly balanced by the earthy scents of black pepper and patchouli oil - Lush.co.uk

This bath ballistic is from the Christmas 2013 Collection, it is new for this year. The first thing I noticed about this was the colour, a very green colour with random yellow and pink dots. There is a giant star shape on the top of this as well.

Another point which I think makes this quite unique is the amount of time it took to fizz away, it was well over ten minutes before this stopped fizzing around the bath. Also there is no bits in this one so you can use it without having to put it in a sock to save on the clean up.

First you get a green colour, then it breaks down and the centre which is a pink / red colour begins to spurt out of it. Then things start to get even weirder, there is popping candy inside and you can hear the crackling from that in the water for around five minutes.

The water ends up a grey / brown colour and with the earthy scents and crackling noises you being to feel as if you are sitting in a witches cauldron.

The scent of this bath ballistic is quite an earthy one (not a dirty soil smell though), the main scent is patchouli, some spiciness but there is definitely a softer side to that which I imagine is the vanilla. The scent does linger on your skin for a good couple of hours afterwards.

This is quite a visually interesting bath ballistic, and it does take a good amount of time to fizz away to nothing and as such it something you will want to have a fair amount of time to watch and to use.

I would get this again, I hope that Lush bring this back again next year.
