Review: ELF - Under Eye Concealer and Highlighter

They say ~ Correct under eye problematic areas such as dark circles and bags easily and effectively! Contains vitamins A & E, chamomile, caffeine and green tea to moisturize, soothe, and tighten the skin around the delicate eye area. Blends in easily and evenly to provide a smooth and natural finish.

I say ~ I really like this product, it says what it does on the tin and it does deliver. The concealing side is better than the highlighting side, and its easy to get more use from it. As you can see from the photos below it does cover up the yellow coloured circles under the eye. I have to say that I didnt notice any particularly tightening effects or soothing but it went on smoothly and blended in well.

Did use the highlighting side and it is very subtle, I am much more likely to use the concealing side rather than the highlighter. Although that could be because I prefer a powder highlighter rather than a liquid one.

For some reason my camera wouldn't focus and this was the best photo I ended up with but you can see its counteracted the yellow tone and with a little foundation will make for flawless coverage.

I would recommend this to anyone who has an under eye area they wish to conceal. On a side note it is people without under eye discolouration which aren't the norm! I think the stat is around 8 out of 10 women have circles.

  1. i personally wouldn't say this is a bad product, but the coverage is not the best. I don't think it's studio line quality, I prefer the all over colour stick to be honest, however, I do have to admit that this one blends beautifully to your skin.

  2. Very useful review, thanks!! this is one of the Elf's products I hadn't tried yet =)

  3. You have beautiful eyes! I have this and I love it, although I totally agree, didn't notice any tightening effects, but a good concealer none the less! Xxx

  4. @Dyna Yeah I think this is a light concealer, the cover stick seems to offer more coverage.

@ZebyK Tightening effect, no! Its not too bad :)

    1. I think it was the light option, not the lightest nor the darkest one.
