Review: ELF Studio - Tinted Moisturiser

Just to quickly clear up any confusion this is a review for the studio tinted moisturizer 25ml with a SPF of 20 rather than the standard range tinted moisturizer with a SPF of 15, you can see my review of that product here. This is in the shade porcelain, which is currently the lightest shade. Clearly too dark for myself though!

ELF Claims - "This lightweight and hydrating formula is breathable and provides anti-aging sun protection with UVA/UVB SPF 20. Achieve even skin tone and naturally radiant skin with this moisturizing sheer tint of color. The smooth formula enhances your complexion with the nourishing key ingredients Aloe, Cucumber and Vitamins A, C & E"

Packaging - Quite simple, matte black with a clear section. Screw off lid and a very small nozzle which means its hygienic and you can squeeze as little or as much as you want to.

Typical low coverage as expected from a tinted moisturiser. Would cover minor flaws and offer more coverage with a concealer and a powder, especially as the finish is a little too shiny for my liking.

Scent - ELF cosmetics often have a scent to them, this one doesn't. I would say it smells lightly
of fresh / clean moisturiser.

Texture - As you can see from the photos this isn't a thin consistency, it's a bit lumpy but that doesn't mean it gives a patchy finish or anything.

Lasting Power - Again typical, lasts for around four hours on my combination skin. With the use of a setting powder however this is extended to six-to-eight hours.

Does it do as they say? The UVA and UVB protection is a great idea, if 'naturally radiant' means leaving a shine to your skin then yes it does that as well as giving a 'sheer tint of colour'.

Repurchase? I wouldn't purely because the lightest shade is way to dark for my skin tone.

£3.50 - 25ml
