Nails: Ciaté Caviar Manicure - My Take

After seeing FleurDeForce's video on this I had to have a further look in to this nail art.

TLDR; lots of steel beads on your nails.

Ciaté have came up with 'caviar' nails where by you use their kit to create a different type of nail art. Their kit costs £18 and in it you get a bottle of Ciaté nail polish and a bottle of caviar beads. They do the kit in Black Pearl, Mother of Pearl and Rainbow. I really like the Black Pearl set, black beads on a navy base.

Currently they are sold out, and besides £18 is well out of my budget! I have lots of little steel beads for nail art which to me are the same as the little ones provided in the above kit. I got mine really cheap from BuyInCoins.com for about £2 and after a quick slick of nail polish this is what I came up with.

The polish is W7 Mercury and this picture actually shoes the duo chrome shift really well. All I did was paint  my nails, then straight after I dipped my finger in to the beads and then sprinkled more over the places I had missed. Use a top coat to seal the tip but not the whole nail otherwise you will spoil the effect.

What do you think of the textured nail look?

  1. Love, do they ship the balls to the UK?

    1. yeah they do, free shipping and 5% off atm with the Easter code on the main page too :)

  2. I love the look! Might be too much for a whole manicure, but good for a statement nail. What a bargain too!
