Review: ELF Cream Eyeliner - Gunmetal

ELF say: "Creates smooth lines that are defined and precise. Smudge-proof, budge-proof and water-resistant coverage for all day wear to combat against, sweat, tears and rain!"

I say: I have to agree with the claims which ELF make. Once it has set which doesn't take long at all it is pretty much there all day. I do use a eyelid primer though as it will help you get the most out of your eyeliner, plus it stops the awful lid transfer.

I would repurchase and recommend this. The brush is a nice little addition which I seem to have lost for the photos, surprisingly enough it is usable. The colour of liner is a metallic shimmer silver colour. Nice and creamy texture, more solid than a gel which doesn't drag your skin at all. Remember to screw the lid back on tightly and to store the pot upside down to prolong the life of the product.

+ Long lasting, I have owned a little pot for almost two years and its still lasting
+ Gunmetal has a gorgeous silver shimmer to it
+ Suitable for contact wearers
+ Nice alternative to black

- Not very good on the waterline
- Pigmentation is good but you will need to go over twice for opaque coverage

  2. ok, give me the strange look XD but i always use grey/silver gel eyeliner to draw my eyebrows :-P this one looks nice!

    1. I wouldn't think it was strange :) if you are going to shave and draw on your eyebrows you may as well have a bit of fun with it! Really liked those lacy stickers you had on in your recent post.
