Swatch: Ciate - Mini Mani Month Day 4 - Mistress 039

Behind the forth door of the Ciate Mini Mani Month Calendar is a little bottle of Mistress (039) which is from the main range of Ciate polish.

Again the message of the day is relevant which is great, this time in the form of advice for painting your nails. Thinner means the coat dries quicker, meaning less smudging and chances of messing up your nails. Also a couple of thin coats are more likely to stay put and be harder to chip.

Finish: Cremé
Colour:  Tomato Red
Opacity: Three coats were needed

Swatch: Ciate - Mini Mani Month Day 3 - Speed Dial 023

Behind the second door of the Ciate Mini Mani Month Calendar is a little bottle of Speed Dial (023) which is from the main range of Ciate polish. Message of the day is more suited to Halloween or some other spooky time.

Finish: Cremé
Colour:  Orange, although for some reason it looked more peach in some lights. All the other swatches I have seen of Speed Dial have looked more neon than this
Opacity: After four coats there was still slight VNL
Formula: Nice enough its just not opaque enough for me

Swatch: Sinful Colors - All Mighty (941)

Finish: Shimmer
Opacity: This is three coats but there is still VNL
Brush Type: Average
How Much: 15ml

Behind the second door of the Ciate Mini Mani Month Calendar is a little bottle of Cutie Pie (026) which is from the main range of Ciate polish. I really like the little message of today, it is actually relevant to nail polish.

Finish: Cremé
Colour: Light pink
Opacity: 3-4 coats needed
Formula: Difficult to work with, streaky

Swatch: Ciate - Mini Mani Month Day 1 - Sundance

Behind the first door of the Ciate Mini Mani Month Calendar is Sundance which is one of the caviar pearls bottles. Little odd option for the first polish but nothing you can't work with if you are already have a polish in your stash. Also, what's with the 'fly a kite' message! It's freezing outside and if you tried to fly a kite I imagine it would turn in to a disaster.

I am starting my countdown today as it is officially 25 days today until Yule! Hopefully I  will be doing a post similar to this for each day of the mini mani month calendar.

Colours: Teal Blue and Golden Yellow steel balls with hex shaped glitter, in silver and orange.

I actually don't really like the hex glitters, they just don't really work with the balls. They stick to the sides of the bottle making them difficult to get out, they gather in the lid too. Struggle to stick to the nail as well because of the shape of the balls getting in the way. The blue and yellow work well together though.

Stamping Sunday: Over Blue

Adventures in Stamping has a challenge today, and that is to do some sort of stamping over a blue base. This is what I came up with, shame the base polish is so busy as it distracts from the stamp.

Base Polish: W7 - Mosaic
Stamping Polish: W7 - Black
Stamping Plate: Bundle Monster - 312
