So we have all by now heard of dry shampoos, great for second day hair or getting some sort of volume and grip on freshly washed hair. Now Batiste have brought a new product in the form of a dry conditioner, I was sent this product to review but that doesn't affect my opinion and review. This is something you use on dry hair.
I sprayed this on the ends of my hair expecting it to be weighed down and to look in need of a wash. Similar to the way it would if I were to put too much leave in conditioner in it. However it really didn't it was a good fine mist, but more of a dry oil in texture, which could be down to the argan oil which is in this. It left my hair feeling and looking really smooth without feeling or looking greasy or weighed down.
I think the name being a 'dry conditioner' is slightly misleading I found this to be much more of a finishing spray. Similar to Lee Stafford's Spray Shine, but cheaper albeit without his signature pink fragrance. This does have a slight floral scent but this isn't going to be overpowering and you will still easily be able to smell your perfume.
It doesn't leave any white residue in the hair at all, unlike the dry shampoo which you have to brush out and work with a little more. Ultimately this is a shine spray great for introducing shine to dull hair, this would be particularly good for blond hair and those with curly hair as those types of hair are hard to get shine in to. I have dark straight hair and have found plenty of times to use this so if you aren't blond or curly don't think this isn't for you.
