Review: Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm - Sultry 225

"This innovative Chubby lip pencil takes your look from day to night with this velvety matte finish, infused with Balm like moisture. Velvety Matte finish. Triple complex of Shea, Mango and Coconut Butter. Retractable chubby crayon, no sharpener required" - Boots

There is a mint smell to this which I like but it is something to be aware of in case you don't like that.

Also it twists up so you don't need to find a large sharpener.

The matte balm isn't like a traditional matte, it doesn't dry your lips but it does last for a long while. I would describe the finish as semi matte rather than a full on matte.

I really like this lip product, it lasts a long time on the lips, doesn't wear bizarrely. It isn't drying the way a traditional matte is, Feels moisturising, sounds like a contradiction being a matte but moisturising product. This colour is a pinky nude colour, lighter and more pink than the packaging and the bullet suggests.

Make Up Collection: Over View

A few years ago I started a series about my make up collection, I never got around to finishing it though. So today I am starting it up again!

As you can see I keep the majority of my make up in plastic storage draws. On top of them I keep my necklaces and bracelets.

The draws are from poundland and come in stacks of two or three draw units. I dismantled them and stacked them higher to keep them more stable.

In between the two sets of draws there are some larger palettes, I keep other palettes inside of the draws.

Over the next few weeks I will be sharing the contents of each draw.

Stamping Plate: Bundle Monster 407 (BM407)

This stamping plate is from the forth Bundle Monster set, the first CYO (create your own). It is backed with branded lining to stop it from being sharp, comes covered with a blue cellophane sticker which you have to peel off before use.

On BM407 there are two full nail images and four smaller ones. I like this plate, the cameo and the dream catcher are favourites. The design with a lot of straight lines on wasn't too easy to work with but I think a lighter hand when scraping would fix that.

You can see all of the designs I have used this plate in here, and some of those are below:

Review: LadyQueen - Penguin Nail Stickers QJ-3D-606*

LadyQueen-Lady-Queen-Penguin-Nail-Stickers-QJ3D606 LadyQueen-Lady-Queen-Penguin-Nail-Stickers-QJ3D606

This sheet of nail stickers is from LadyQueen. There are four different designs and you get six of each design. Three are penguins, and I think the other two are seals.

They are stickers so all you need to do is peel them off the backing and stick them to your nails. I like to use a top coat to seal them in so they don't get caught in my hair.

I know it is still August so summer here in the northern hemisphere but I had to add some snowflakes to these penguin nail art!

I also used the seal stickers for a French manicure twist;

LadyQueen also sent me a midi ring to use, I am someone who always wears a lot of rings. This one works well, it would also work on a little finger if you have slimmer fingers.

Penguin Stickers - $1.76
Ring - $1.91
