Review: Lush - Karma Bubble Bar

It has been a long while since I did a Lush review. This particular review is of the Karma bubble bar, which I have used many times in the past but this one is now a newer shape and colour.

"Get an instant lift with this bubble bar with our signature exotic orange and patchouli fragrance. Sweet orange oil is refreshing, tangy and uplifting, as is lemongrass oil. Lavandin is a close relative of lavender and has similarly relaxing properties. Pine oil adds a fresh, green note to the perfume and elemi oil, which is traditionally used in incense recipes, adds complexity and freshness" - Lush

The previous version of this bubble bar was orange, I prefer the purple but that doesn't really matter in terms of the bubbles. Another difference is glitter, this one has glitter and the old one didn't. I don't particularly like glitter however I didn't find myself covered in glitter afterwards, and the bath wasn't coated in glitter either which is good.

So for this bath I used half of the bubble bar and it created enough bubbles and the scent was still strong and lingered on the skin.

The water turned a deep purple colour, and although it was quite a strong colour it didn't cling to the bath nor stain anything.

The fragrance was very much patchouli, the scent also lingered on the skin for a good few hours which is amazing. I don't find many Lush bath products, the scent of them linger for a day on the skin so finding one which does is a bonus. Sex Bomb also lingers but that is a jasmine scent.

So overall I really like this bubble bar, although I would prefer it without glitter. It is quite strongly scented of patchouli so that is something you want to know before buying it. The scent lingers on the skin but the glitter doesn't stick to you.
