Monthly Empties: June 2016

I seem to be a little delayed in writing up this post, things have been a little busy!

I didn't use up many polishes this month, but I did finish off a massive HK Girl topcoat and a base coat.
Nails Inc - NailKale Superfood Base Coat - I have been enjoying using this base coat, I can't say though if it has benefited my nails. I do however really like the brush.
Glisten and Glow HK Girl Topcoat - This top coat is my favourite one, quick drying and glassy finish [full review].
Nails Inc - New York Noir - Got this free with a magazine but I really liked it, opaque and stamped too.

Moving on to make up;

Primark Eyebrow Kit - This shade was too light for me and so that is why I only seem to have used the darker of the two shades.
2true Perfect Primer - I didn't get along with this, it is very similar to the Benefit Porefessional. I am too pale for this and it sits in my pores making them look darker than they are. The formula is silicone bases and does help make up to look smoother and last longer.
MUA Pressed Powder - Shade 1 - I think this powder would have worked and I did try to like it but it was too dark for me and it is the lightest shade in the range.
ELF Concealer - Apricot Beige - Again another shade mismatch for me.

MUA Clear Mascara - I'm throwing this out because I have had it for too long. Also I never seem to use a brow mascara.
ELF All Over Cover Stick - Apricot Beige - Another shade mismatch, finding light enough products seem to have been a difficult one!
ELF HD Blush - Encore - I really don't know why I bought this, I don't get along with liquid or cream blushes. These ones are very pigmented which may be a good thing but it wasn't for me.

Avon Lipstick - No idea how long I have had this and that is why it is being thrown out!
Eyeko Lipgloss - Another old product, also I don't like using lip gloss.
MUA - Lipstick Shade 11 - I used this lipstick up, it was very much a standard lipstick. I have enough lipsticks to last though so won't be repurchasing.
Makeup Revolution - Lipgloss Not Naive - For someone who doesn't like lipgloss I do seem to have a lot of it! And so time has came for clearing out the old [swatch].
MUA Luxe - Atomic - I found the formula for these to be quite sticky once it dried down, not sticky in the way a lipgloss is, this more sticks to itself which isn't good. Also the colour, bright orange, isn't a 'me' shade!

Random empties;

TRESemmé - Luxurious Moisture Shampoo - I didn't have many thoughts on this shampoo, it cleaned my hair but didn't leave it feeling anything different or special.
Boots - Extra Large Cotton Wool Balls - These are great for removing nail polish, they can be torn in to multiple pieces so the bag lasts a while.
OPI Avojuice - Apple Pie Spice - I am a fan of the avojuice formula, it is light weight, moisturising and it doesn't leave any residue which means you can get on with your life after using it. This particular scent is really reminiscent of a McDonalds apple pie, so great if your not eating those but like the scent.
Yankee Candle - Cranberry Pear Wax Tart - This has a nice fruity scent to it. I liked it and would get something again in this fragrance.
