Stamping Plate: MoYou London - Christmas Collection 04 XL

This is a stamping plate from MoYou London, this particular one is an XL plate making it perfect for people with longer or wider nails. Images are 1.5cm x 2cm. The plate itself comes backed with a piece of white plastic meaning it is great for those who are clumsy. It does mean there is more of a clean up though.

It has 12 images on the plate itself. As you can see all of the images stamped relatively well, the wonky images are as I was using a squishy stamper as it is the largest stamper I have and these images are quite large. The mesh image was the one I had the most problems transferring.

I quite like a lot of these images, my only issue is the images are a little too wide for my nails. When I have short nails they are too long for them as well. MoYou London also do none XL image plates which are smaller.

Review: Lush - Secret Santa

Modelled on our first shop in Poole and fragrenced with our 29 High Street perfume this is our very own Santa’s grotto. The fragrance was created to emulate the rich smell of essential oils inside the shop, and there's even a miniature red Father Christmas bath bomb inside!

This bath ballistic was very large, and when you shook it it rattled. Because this was so big I smashed it in to pieces so I could divide it between two baths. Inside of the house shell was a red santa's head which turned the water a red colour although with the amount of orange this was overpowered in the bath water. 

The fragrance of this was a slight Ylang Ylang although it was fresh with a vague citrus scent to it as well. Although the scent didn't linger on the skin nor was it particularly over powering in the bath itself.

I found that this made the water a great uplifting orange colour, however it also spat out a lot of dirt and twigs. Almost like the floor of a forest in your bath. However it didn't last and didn't mean a lengthy clean up afterwards.

This set comes with three polishes, a base and a top coat.

  

 

Starstruck;

Starstuck is a glitter black polish, opaque in two coats.

Fireball;

Fireball is a orange, red, pink glitter polish. Opaque in two coats.

Moon Shine;

Moon Shine is described as a cream shimmer. This is three coats of it and you can still see my smile line. This would work well as a topper.

The base coat is good, it leaves your nails matte which helps the polish to stick, it is also a pink, nude colour which helps disguise any discoloration your nails might have. The Crystal Finish top coat is relatively quick drying, and does leave a nice shine to the nails. An improvement on the previous version.
