Empties: December 2025

The last empties from 2025 and managed to finish some polish finally!

Boots Cotton Balls | I seem to go through a lot of these, they are good for removing polish with so would keep repurchasing.

OPI Holidazed Over You | Glad to have used this up, I have a full sized bottle and also received another mini of this for christmas. Deep navy shimmer [swatch].

L'Occitane Sparkling Leaves | A lightweight hand lotion, it sank in quickly and the fresh scent lingered. I would repurchase from L'Occitane but not this scent.

Born Pretty Store Tender | I hadn't used this up but it has turned solid and I haven't used it in a long time so getting rid of it rather than resorting it [swatch].

Bath and Body Works Black Cherry Merlot Hand Cream | Sinks in quickly, doesn't leave a film on my hands, strongly scented like Yankee Candle Black Cherry. I would repurchase.

Umberto Giannini Curl Jelly Wash Shampoo | This is very thick shampoo, I needed a lot of water to get this to spread and suds up. It smells the same as the scrunching jelly. I found this okay but probably wouldn't repurchase.

Umberto Giannini Curl Jelly Wash Conditioner | Another this was okay product, it is very thick and heavily scented. Unsure if I would repurchase.

Avon Apple Pie Lipbalm | I only used this a handful of times, the texture was very similar to Vaseline and the scent was nice and apple like. I didn't like the formula so not a repurchase.

Reeses Lipbalm | More of a dryer, waxier formula, it smelt of peanuts. I didn't mind the formula of this but don't think I'd go out of my way to repurchase.

Lush Punkin Pumpkin Bath Bomb | Shaped like a pumpkin. Scent was vague lime, cinnamon and pepper. I don't think I would repurchase this.

Wickford and Co Gingerbread Candle | This candle had a good scent throw that filled the whole room. I liked it and would repurchase if it was the right season.

Prices Candles Mulled Wine | The candle barely had any scent to it when up close and when burning it didn't have a scent throw. Disappointing, so not a repurchase.

Shay and Blue Black Tulip Perfume | I was gifted this, it is a deep, strong heavy scent, plum, peppery, woody. The scent wasn't for me.

  

Empties: November 2025

I finally finished a polish from my finish the bottle project!

OPI Alpine Snow | Good basic white cream, it was fine but I have other pure whites so not a repurchase [swatch].

Primark - PS Love Noir | This is a dupe for a perfume for Miss Cherie. I like it when I'm not wearing something patchouli based.

Fragrance Oils Sex Bomb, Avobath and Calmer | All three were scent dupes of the Lush products. I may repurchase at some point.

John Frieda Hair Foam | I  like the foam because one box goes a long way and covers my long hair. The dye does wash out of my hair after a couple of months but it also means there isn't a harsh demarcation line of roots. I will repurchase at some point.

Superdrug Fruity Pumpkin Spice Shower Gel | Usually the fruity shower gel is fine, this one seemed more watery though and the scent wasn't particularly pumpkin spice like. I'd not repurchase this scent.

Wickford and Co Pumpkin Chai Candle | This had an okay scent throw, I would purchase from this brand again just not this scent.

Hotel Collection Pumpkin Spice Candle | Again this had an okay scent throw, I don't think I would repurchase from the brand again. The jar did look seasonal.

  

Empties: October 2025

Just a couple of things used up in October;

A Certain Becca Lacquer Wood Sage and Sea Salt Cuticle Oil | Of the various applicators for cuticle oil I think I prefer the dropper bottle. The oil sinks in and the scent lingers. I would repurchase in a different scent.

A Certain Becca Lacquer Candy Cane Cuticle Oil | Again this oil is good and I would repurchase in a different scent.

Yankee Candle Witches Brew | I've had this for a while, it is my favourite scented candle. If this was re-released I would repurchase, its very patchouli heavy.

Pumpkin Pecan Waffle Candle | The candle burned well and had an okay scent throw to it. I'd not repurchase though.

Garnier Pineapple Hair Food Mask | The scent of this reminds me of Opal Fruits / Starburst, its a nice mask for once a week. I might repurchase it.

Lush Glow in the Dark Shower Gel | I didn't find this to glow in the dark but maybe I waited too long to notice. The scent was very lemony which isn't something I prefer so I won't repurchase.

The Perfume People Losing Cherry | Scent dupe for Tom Ford Lost Cherry, I liked this and would repurchase.
