Nails: Brown Animal Print

Another attempt at nail art, think I am getting better but not quite there. Think I might get a machine at some point. I like this one so much more than the bright pink!

This is some kind of animal print done with:
-ELF - Smokey Brown Polish as the base
-ELF - Chocolate as the stripes

What do you think?

Swatch: ELF - Dark Navy

Generally ELF's nail polish is great, this navy is more black / blue (wish my hair would go that colour!) but I do like that. It doesn't dry as shiny as the other colours I have tried, not matte but not shiny either. Also this colour seemed to chip so easier than the other shades I have tried. Chipped within one day which isn't so good!

Two days of wear with two coats, going to try again at wearing this nail polish but with clear coat on top to seal it see if it lasts any longer.

*edit* I tried this polish with a base and a top coat and this did help the colour stay on. Lasted two days chip free that way which was better but not as good as the other shades I have by the same company.

Anyone else try this colour?

Dupe Alert! Lippmann - Bad Romance

I saw this in Superdrug and I got very curious as to if this is a dupe of Deborah Lippmann's Bad Romance

Its Revlon and looks like a very close dupe to me, apparently its a new shade for A/W 2011

I wanted this to wear during my wedding in November and now its mine and it was just £6.49 rather than the much more expensive £14

Nails: Fluorescent Animal Print

As you can tell I wasnt keen on the pink. Although I think with the black it looks better, my first time doing anything like that and this was done by my left hand (right handed) so I think I might need to practice some more! Nice though I think!

Swatch: ELF - Fluorescent Pink

NOTD - ELF's Fluorescent Pink
(£1.50 - 10ml)

Completly not my colour but for free I can't complain! I think I won't wear it like in the above picture but might go nice with some sort of nail art against a black base. Very barbie pink though, just how I remember their heels were as a kid lol!

Review: Lush - Dragons Egg Bath Ballistic

They say ~ We've cracked a new generation of Bath Ballistic. The Dragon's Egg is a mystical, powerful force of nature that will change the way you bathe. When you drop these eggs into the water, they crack open to reveal plumes of orange fizz that look like a baby dragon breathing fire as it hatches into the world.

As you bathe in the whirlpool of vibrant, fiery colour and inhale the refreshing sherbet scent of lemon and bergamot, you'll feel like you're up and away on the back of your own dragon. Popping candy pops around you, glitter swirls in shimmering circles and your bath becomes the birthing ground of a baby dragon. Well, in a way.
£2.95 - 200g

I say ~ Well I wasnt expecting too much from this as it was plain white in colour however as you can see the bath water did change colour. It was a slow fizzer which I suppose was nice although a bit of a pain to film! It did actually start to fizz out orange, although not much like a dragon breathing. The scent was bergamot for sure, the cracking though wasnt very loud of impressive.

Once all of the colour had came out and the ballistic was really small it then sort of broke apart and a bunch of gold glitter spurted out, along with a bunch of little circles of sugar paper came out. I was surprised as I wasn't expecting it one little bit! Made for quite a chore of cleaning the bath afterwards, and the colour of the bath unappealing.

As you can see even my duck was covered in the gold glitter. I am not a fan of glitter generally or in the bath. Had to take a shower after my bath to get off all the glitter that stuck to me which sort of defeats the object of a bath!

Would I buy it again ~ No, I don't like the glitter and the scent wasn't very potent.

Review: ELF - Candy Shop Lip Glosses

ELF Candy Shop Lip Glosses in Crazed Coconut, Cherry Bomb, Candy Fix and Berry Pop

They say ~ Got a sweet tooth? With double the amount of gloss you can enjoy the candy without the cavity! A modern twist to an old favorite, the unique ultra durable sliding lip tin holds your favorite lip gloss in 7 deliciously juicy flavors to choose from.

I say ~ Unfortunately these have been discontinued from the US and so no more shall be coming to the UK so I guess its a first come first serve basis. I am a bit of a chap stick addict which is why I bought these! Nice and cheap at £1.50 for 11g. I like the tin they hold quite a bit of product and hey all smell amazing. Its a nice way to get your fix without all the calories! Its not particularly hygienic sticking your finger in to the tin but seeing as this is just for me I don't mind as I don't have dirty fingers lol! None of them are sticky or goopy either.

Crazed Coconut - Well this one smells totally like coconut as the name would suggest, its a white colour but once its on the lip its more of a clear gloss with a little glitter.

Cherry Bomb - This is my favourite one I think! It has a tint which is a deep red although not too evening of a shade. It smells of cherries and candy, its just a really sweet shop scent.

Berry Pop - I think this one is supposed to smell of a lolly or something but I find it to be a lot like a black forest gateau which is fruity and chocolatey. On the lip it gives a little darker red / plum colour and a nice sheen.

Candy Fix - Not too sure why I choose this one as the colour so isnt something I would go for usually! On the lip though its fine and not a barbie pink at all! Its just a nice sheen over the lip. As for the scent well I think it is a mix between white chocolate and dolly mixtures, nice candy fix as the tin suggests.
