Nails: Top 5 Autumn / Fall Polishes 2022

As autumn arrives today I thought I would share my top five autumn / fall nail polishes.
I have done similar posts in 20212020201920182017201620152014, and 2013.

Sally Hansen Copper Penny is standard copper glitter in a clear base, I like to create a glitter gradient with this polish.

Fancy Gloss Magma is another topper, this is a multichrome flakie which shines the colours of autumn leaves.

Barry M Copper Mine is a metallic polish and as the name suggests in the colour light copper.

Aj Nails Venus is a multichrome polish similar to Magma however this isn't a topper and can be worn as is.

Barry M Hibiscus is the only cream polish I have chosen, it is a dusty purple shade.

Topic Tuesday: Favourite Online Shop for Polish

At the moment I am buying more from Rainbow Connection, some polishes from the Polish Pick Up section and then others from the standard shop. Another place I have been using more recently is Nail Artisan.

Swatch: A England - Camelot (The Mythicals Collection)

So I have used an awful lot of black nail polishes over the past 20 years, and while this isn't the worst I have ever used it isn't a great polish. I prefer the brush on the newer A England polishes over this standard one. The formula is quite thin although it did become opaque in two coats.

Overall I am glad that this cost me only £2, however I will definitely continue to use it up.

Nails: Top 5 Autumn / Fall Polishes 2019

As autumn is almost upon us and so thought I would share my top five autumn / fall nail polishes.
I have done similar posts in 20182017201620152014, and 2013.

Laquerlicious - All Bundled Up // OPI - In The Cable Car Pool Lane // Kleancolor - Chunky Holo Black // OPI - Rub A Pub Pub // Essie - Angora Cardi

Laquerlicious - All Bundled Up | I chose this as it is a deep blue glitter, it is dark but not so dark it just looks black and the glitter just adds a bit of something to it.

OPI - In The Cable Car Pool Lane | Would it be autumn without a berry shade polish? This is a nice berry cream.

Kleancolor - Chunky Holo Black | I prefer this over a black base, it is a flakie topper which has autumnal oranges and greens in it.

OPI - Rub A Pub Pub | A new addition to my collection from the Scotland 2019 range. This is a slate grey cream which is dark and moody but without it just looking plain black.

Essie - Angora Cardi | This is a dusty pink cream, its a great base for a wooly jumper / sweater type nail art.

Nails: Top 5 Spring Polishes 2019

A England - Puck A Fairy // OPI - I'll Have A Gin and Tectonic // China Glaze - Werk It Honey! // Nails Inc - Regents Place // OPI - Do You Lilac It?

Today is officially the Spring equinox and so I thought now would be a good time to share my Spring 2019 nail polish picks. I have done this type of post before which you can see 2018 here, 2017 here, 2015 here and 2014 here.

A England - Puck A Fairy // OPI - I'll Have A Gin and Tectonic // China Glaze - Werk It Honey! // Nails Inc - Regents Place // OPI - Do You Lilac It?

You don't need these specific polishes, but these are the ones I reach for more during Spring. Pastel colours are mainly Spring specific, but I seem to also like a holographic pop of colour with Puck a Fairy.

A England - Puck A Fairy - A vibrant holo teal polish, great pop of colour.

OPI - I'll Have A Gin and Tectonic - A peachy nude, nice as a nail art base.

China Glaze - Werk It Honey! - Would it be a spring nail polish selection without a yellow? This one is opaque in two coats which is appreciated for a pale yellow.

Nails Inc - Regents Place - Pastel blue which leans lilac, verging on periwinkle.

OPI - Do You Lilac It? - Straight up lilac cremé polish, this one is ideal as a nail art base.
