Empties: November 2014

Used up eight polishes this past month!

Primark - Glo Baby Glo!
BPS - White stamping polish
BK - Neon Orange

As well as a few bath pieces
Avon Watermelon Bubble Bath - This was okay but nothing enough to make me want to repurchase.
Body Shop Cherry Lip Butter - Really liked this but it has been discontinued [full review].
Lush Sex Bomb Bath Ballistic - Winter staple, my favorite to use [full review].
Lush May Day Bath Ballistic - While this didn't look spectacular it made my skin feel nice and soft so I didn't need to moisturise afterwards without leaving me greasy or oily.
Lush Northern Lights Bath Ballistic - Turned the water a nice purple colour but wasn't anything amazing.

Starstuck is a glitter black polish, opaque in two coats.

 Fireball is a orange, red, pink glitter polish. Opaque in two coats.

Moon Shine;

Moon Shine is described as a cream shimmer. This is three coats of it and you can still see my smile line. This would work well as a topper

The base coat is good, it leaves your nails matte which helps the polish to stick, it is also a pink, nude colour which helps disguise any discoloration your nails might have. The Crystal Finish top coat is relatively quick drying, and does leave a nice shine to the nails. An improvement on the previous version.

Stamping Plate: MoYou London - Festive Collection 03 (XL)

This stamping plate is the XL sized one, meaning the full nail images are 1.5cm by 2cm. Festive Collection 03 has 12 full nail images on it, the plate as with all MoYou London plates is backed with white plastic.

I used Kleancolor Metallic Fuchsia 144 to stamp with and all of the images stamped fine. I had a bit of a problem with the swirl images that is because it has a lot of space, but changing my scraping method to more of a 45 degree angle it worked fine.

I haven't had the chance to use this much yet but I am sure it will get used more in December. You can see all of the designs I have done using this here once I have.

Pick n' Mix 52 Week Challenge: Favorite Brand

Strictly speaking Soap and Glory isn't my favorite brand, however I do like the brand a fair bit. I already did some Lush inspired nails here. Back in 2010 Soap and Glory did a gift set called The Big Softie which is what inspired these nails;

Base Polish: La Femme - Pink Cream 106
Stamping Polish: MoYou Nails - Special Nail Polish - Black
Stamping Plate: Bundle Monster 411
