Empties: September 2025

Not a massive amount of empties this past month;

Boots Cotton Balls | I seem to go through a lot of these, they are good for removing polish with so would keep repurchasing.

L'Occitane Herbae Hand Lotion | This sinks in quickly, the scent does linger, it isn't my favourite scent but I really like the formula. I may repurchase if I didn't have many others to get through.

Aldi Sweet Maple Shower Gel | I liked the scent of this, biscuity, ginger, cake like. Its a dupe for Philosophy Morning Maple. I might repurchase this if it is re-released.

Umberto Giannini Dry Shampoo | I don't go through a lot of dry shampoo but when I do reach for it I like this one. Applied the night before, in the morning no white cast left in my dark hair. I will repurchase it.

Soap and Glory Original Body Spray | Had a nice spray action, the scent is very similar to Miss Dior Cherie. I like the scent and may repurchase.

The Perfume People Lorde Miserable Eau de Toilette | A good scent dupe for Lush Lord of Misrule, would buy this spray again if I didn't have the perfume from Lush itself to move on to.

Pacific Wax Co Vanilla Shortbread Candle | Finally finished this candle last month, it didn't have much of a scent throw to it so wouldn't repurchase.

  

Empties: August 2025

Finished a 250ml bottle of topcoat, been using it since July 2023;

CosmicAurua Top Coat | A plump quick drying topcoat which doesn't shrink or drag the polish underneath on my nails. I have another bottle but would repurchase.

L'Occitaine Verveine Hand Cream | This is a lightweight hand gel, sinks in quickly and is nice on the go. I didn't notice any scent other than the verbena. I would repurchase this if I didn't have plenty already.

Garnier Ultimate Blends Pineapple Shampoo and Conditioner | Strongly scented of Starburst / Opal Fruits, a nice lightweight conditioner that didn't weigh my hair down. I would repurchase.

Lush Lord of Misrule Shower Gel | The scent is identical to the bath bomb, musky and patchouli and a little goes a long way. It is expensive, but I would repurchase it.

CurlSmith Weightless Air Dry Cream | A leave in conditioner, it is lightweight as the name suggests not heavy on my fine hair. This was a repurchase and unfortunately the new recipe didn't work well on my hair, so I won't repurchase.

  

Monthly Empties: May 2025

Boots Cotton Balls | Basic cotton ball, on the smaller side but I would repurchase for removing polish.

W7 Mosaic | This polish has changed colour due to the glitter pigments dissolving, but seeing as I've owned it for 13 years I don't think that's too bad. I liked the original colour and if it still existed I would repurchase [original swatch].

  

Monthly Empties: April 2025

Color Club Pucci-licious | Finally finished this bottle, having had it since 2012. It was a basic purple cream polish, I would repurchase if I didn't already have colour dupes [swatch].

W7 Black | This was a two coater black cream, I'd not repurchase as the smell was pretty potent [swatch].

L'Occitane Sparkling Leaves | A lightweight hand lotion, it sank in quickly and the fresh scent lingered. I would repurchase from L'Occitane but not this scent.

Soap and Glory Dry Shampoo | I don't often use dry shampoo and so have had this bottle for a while. It did work when applied the night before, but the 'pink' scent was very strong and lingered in my hair. I'd not repurchase as the scent was too intense for me.

L'Oreal Dark Brown Root Cover | The spray covered roots well, again its not something I use often but I would repurchase as it lets me go longer in between dyeing hair.

Garnier Ultimate Blends Pineapple Shampoo | The scent on this is very fruity and it does linger in my hair. I found the shampoo still lathered without SLS, I will repurchase this at some point.

Aldi Lacura Sweet Angel | Scent dupe of Lush Snow Fairy, another good basic shower gel scented of sweet pear drops. I would repurchase.

Wild Lipbalm Peach and Mango | I didn't like the original formula on this, gritty and quite hard. Only good thing was the scent, I wouldn't repurchase the original formula.

Wild Lipbalm Watermelon | This had the improved recipe and the formula was smooth and nourishing. The scent is artificial watermelon, I would repurchase.

Dirty Works Fruity Lipbalm | A soft formula, scented like blackberries, did what you would expect a lipbalm to do. I would repurchase this but have others to use up.
