Review: BornPrettyStore - Silver Chain Nail Art Accessory*

These are listed on the Born Pretty Store as "1Pc MIni Flower Rhinestone Chain Nail Studs Charming 3D Nail Art Decoration". The particular chain I am reviewing is the 20cm long 3mm wide silver chain.

 

The chain is 3mm in width which is a good size for nail art, anything larger than 5mm and I personally think it gets a little too clunky. To cut this chain I used a normal pair of scissors, you could use wire cutters.

Working with such a small nail accessory was quite fiddly, I found using a pair of tweezers really helped to lay the chain down and position where you want it. I used top coat to stick the chain down with, you can use nail glue for a stronger hold. I personally didn't use top coat over the chain to seal it in because I prefer the look without it. Using top coat over the top may mean you loose a little definition and 3D effect of the chain.

First I used the chain over a stamped lace base;

Finally I used smaller pieces of chain around my cuticles over a simple dotticure;
