Topic Tuesday: How Do You Photograph Your Nails

This week the answer is pretty simple, I use my phone, currently a S10 Lite. Nine times out of 10 I am holding a piece of black velvet material to make sure my fingers are on a good angle so you can see the designs. Otherwise for polish swatches I hold the bottle so we know what polish I am wearing.

Nail Polish Swatch: Barry M - Jalapeno (Summer 2021 Gellys)

Barry M released a range of six gelly polishes for Summer 2021. I have compared this one to previous gelly polishes. I don't think they are actual dupes of any others but they are very similar. Jalapeno is most like Cardamom but slightly darker.

Stamping Plate: MoYou London - Gothic Collection 04

 I bought this stamping plate in September 2014, I hadn't gotten around to reviewing it until now.

This plate is rectangle and has a selection of Halloween / Gothic images on it, 12 full nail images. All of the images stamp across well, and here are some nails I have done using the plate;

Then and Now Throwback Nails: Purple Half Moons

These nails were originally done in August 2010, so 11 years ago.

I don't think with these nails there is a massive difference between the two, I haven't done half moons in a long time and I also hadn't used the Stargazer polish in years. Used the same dark purple polish but a different lighter polish as I didn't still have the original.
