I've not many holiday toppers but Fancy Gloss Christmas Party is one I plan on wearing again this year.

  

Nail Polish Battle 2024: Red

Today's battle is red polishes;

Orly Golden Waves // Orly Take Flight // Nails Inc St James // Orly Rustic Root // Cuticula Burning Embers // Orly Velvet Ribbon

From the six red and brown polishes I chose my top three;

St James is a bright red cream finish polish, a great basic for nail art;

Burning Embers is a dark red dense flakie polish, I don't have any other red flakie polishes so it is a good addition to my collection;

And finally Rustic Root which is the winner, it is a brick red which has a bit of a shimmer;

Nail Polish Battle 2024: Purple

Now that it's December, it's time for my annual nail polish battle. I find it interesting to look back over the year at the new polishes I have acquired and seeing which ones are my favourites.

Since last years nail polish battle I have 73 new nail polishes which is  seven less than last year. Today's battle is purple polishes;

Cirque Colors Cool Blast // China Glaze Pure Imagination // Orly Alloy Matey // Orly Indigo Skies // Whatcha Psychedelic // Polished for Days Doom Buggy // Swamp Gloss The Alpha and the Beta // Orly Starlit Shale

I went through the eight purple polishes and picked out my top three;

Cool Blast is a cornflower leaning purple shade with pink flakes;

Indigo Skies is a cool toned mid purple cream polish;

Meaning Psychedelic is the winner of the purple nail polish battle, it is a purple to blue magnetic multichrome with iridescent flakes.
