First MSMD post in some time now, but when I saw this paisley design pined over on Pintrest I had to attempt it myself. Design credit and inspiration came from Haute Lacquer.

Base Polish: Avon - Lime Splatter

 

Swatch: Barry M - Prickly Pear Gelly Hi-Shine

This is one of the Gelly polishes brought out Autumn 2012, I have swatched Blackberry and Blue Plum also. Really like this dusky lilac shade, and while it is marketed as a gelly it isn't actually a gel polish.

Opacity: Allegedly one coat but I used two
Colour: Pastel Lilac
Finish: Cremé

ABC Challenge: U is for Umbrella

Coming close to an end of the ABC Challenge now, and this week the letter is U. I saw a manicure by Tips and Topcoat (which was better than mine), which reminded me of the Pon and Zi sketch with the umbrella which is what I was going for when I attempted this;
