Sat-ART-Day Challenge: Winter Scarf

Now it is December I can officially welcome the festive posts, although that hasn't stopped me using my Ciaté Calendar to count down to Yule.

Challenge today was a winter scarf, this is my third attempt an I am still not happy with it!

Base Polish: Revlon - Cloud
Acrylic Paints

Swatch: Ciate - Mini Mani Month Day 4 - Mistress 039

Finish: Cremé

Colour:  Tomato Red

Opacity: Three coats were needed

Swatch: Ciate - Mini Mani Month Day 3 - Speed Dial 023

Finish: Cremé

Colour:  Orange, although for some reason it looked more peach in some lights. All the other swatches I have seen of Speed Dial have looked more neon than this

Opacity: After four coats there was still slight VNL

Formula: Nice enough its just not opaque enough for me

Swatch: Sinful Colors - All Mighty (941)

Finish: Shimmer
Opacity: This is three coats but there is still VNL
Brush Type: Average
How Much: 15ml

 

 

Swatch: Ciate - Mini Mani Month Day 2 - Cutie Pie 026

Finish: Cremé 

Colour: Light pink

Opacity: 3-4 coats needed

Formula: Difficult to work with, streaky
