Although there may be snow on the ground I still believe that spring is in the air, even if it is just on my nails. So I had a look through my polish stash and these are my top five spring time nail polishes, and I am quite liking this 'spring time skittle' manicure I have going on.
As always with Stamping on Sunday there is a stamping challenge on a sunday, you can join the group here if you like. Today was using a dotting tool, along with stamping, which involved a bit of thought on my part.
Base Polish: Revlon - Cloud Stamping Polish: Nails Inc - Electric Teal Stamping Plate: Bundle Monster BM11
So first round we have to get 14 polishes down to just four. Me being me I don't particularly have a preference for light polishes! I adore Sally Hansen's Lavender Cloud, it is opaque in two coats and is perfect for those winter nail designs.
However I seem over the past year to have used an awful lot of ELF's Innocent and that is why it is making it through to the next round.
The winner of the battle is Barry M's Matte White, and while I have used a lot of Innocent Matte White wins (just) because it is good for stamping as well as a base for nail designs!
Today is the first of eight nail challenges for the winter holiday challenge over on Crumpet's Nail Tarts. Snowflakes were the nails for today and this is what I came up with. Unfortunately the blue holographic base didn't show up too well for the photos.
