Review: Born Pretty Store - Dual Ended Nail Picker Wax Pen*

This is a duel ended tool, the colour is purple to white gradient, it also comes in three other different colour ways.

It is 126mm in length, so around average pen length.

One end of the tool is a wax nib which is perfect for picking up little nail gems and other small otherwise tricky accessories.

I usually use a set of tweezers to apply rhinestones, however sometimes the gems ping off when I squeeze the tweezers too hard. Also I have been known to smudge the polish with the tweezers.

Picking up a rhinestone with the wax end is so easy, they almost stick to the tip but not too much that they don't transfer from the tool to the nail easily.

The other end of the tool is designed to pick up a small bead of blue tack and then using that you can pick up small nail art accessories.

Overall this is a really useful nail tool, makes placement so much accurate. Also seems to have made me wear studded items more often!

Review: BOHEM - Superstar - Reusable Nail Art*

The Superstar represents fame and flashing lights! The superstar is special and full of hope. Stand out and show off with BOHEM's Superstar!

What is BOHEM Reusable Nail Art?
These are silver nail jewellery, to be used as an accent nail.

What do they claim?
- Unlimited Use
- Kind to your nails
- Solid 925 Sterling Silver
- Anti-tarnish protection
- Hallmarked officially by Birmingham Assay Office, UK
- Designed made and hand-finished by qualified artisans in the Jewellery Quarter

This particular design is called 'Superstar' which are silver with a star design on.

The nail accessories come with 12 adhesive tabs, along with a silver polishing cloth.
Also included is a instruction leaflet and a nail file.

The adhesive tabs, which you can repurchase separately.

Silver polishing cloth which again you can repurchase separately.

These nail accessories come in various designs as well as different lengths, shapes and widths so depending on your own nails you can find something which will fit your nail bed. The sizing chart can be found here.

On to the ones I was sent to review, I chose 20mm length, width medium (12mm) and rounded tips. BOHEM also do free exchanges and returns if you happen to order the wrong size.

The silver polish is OPI's My Silk Tie;

For these nails I used Colors By Llarowe Black Gold, Texas Tea and some round 4mm silver studs;

Although these are made from solid sterling silver they aren't heavy and while you can feel you have something on your nails. The sticky tabs are strong enough to hold them on to the nail securely. They remove by simply pulling them off, don't use nail polish remover as this will tarnish the sterling silver.

I think these are great for special occasions or nights out. Something a bit special and a bit different. There are so many different designs on the BOHEM site that there is something for everybody and of course there are all different sizes for different nail lengths, shapes and widths.

Review: 4mm White Star Nail Accessories

review-Born-Pretty-Store-4mm-Hollow-Out-Pentagon-Matt-Glitter-Powder-Sheets-Tips-Nail-Art-Decoration review-Born-Pretty-Store-4mm-Hollow-Out-Pentagon-Matt-Glitter-Powder-Sheets-Tips-Nail-Art-Decoration

These are listed on the Born Pretty Store as "4mm Hollow Out Pentagon Matt Glitter Powder Sheets Tips Nail Art Decoration". They come in 12 different colours, and these are the white ones.

You get a small pot of 4mm stars, I would guess at 60-100 individual stars. They have been punched through to leave a hollowed outline. There were a couple of these punched out pieces in the pot which I am sure will come in useful for other nail looks.

The stars are quite ridged and won't bend to the curve of your nail, they do stick out a bit. So this may be good to know if you are a picker. For me though they weren't annoying with two coats of top coat to help seal them down.

To use them I did my nails and let them dry, to attach them I used a dab of clear polish and then using tweezers I picked up a star and placed it where I wanted it to be. You could use nail glue for this to stick it down, for a securer attachment. Afterwards I sealed them in with a thick topcoat.

First I used them alone;

Base Polish: Stargazer - Navy

Another way I used them was to add something to some stamped nails;

Base Polish: ELF - Plum
Stamping Plates: Bundle Monster 21, Konad Q1
Stamping Polish: Barry M - Silver Foil Effect

And the third way I used the was as an accent to a simple black and white dotticure;

Base Polish: Essence - Black is Back
Dot Polish: Barry M - Matt White

These are from BornPrettyStore, you can see some of there new products here and what is most popular here.
