Topic Tuesday: Favourite and Least Favourite Polish Bottle

My favourite polish bottles are standard Barry M bottles or A England bottles because they are all neat and easy to store.

My least favourite are the Jacava polish bottles because the handles are far too tall and make storing them difficult. Around three centimetres taller than the rest of my polishes.

Nail Polish Battle 2020: Pink and Red

As it is December, it is time for my annual nail polish battle. I find it interesting to look back over the year at the new polishes I have acquired and seeing which ones are my favourites.

Since last years nail polish battle I have 67 new nail polishes which is 15 more than last year. Today I am looking at pink and red ones.

It wasn't too difficult to choose my top three because pink isn't my favourite colour. My photo doesn't seem to be all that colour accurate for some reason but the individual swatch photos are more accurate.

Barry M - French Rose // OPI - All About the Bows // Rimmel - Bold Burgundy

All About the Bows is a very bright almost neon pink shade, a good summer shade.

Bold Burgundy is almost the opposite to the OPI, a deep burgundy shade. Something I reach for more in the autumn and winter.

And the winner of the pink and red battle is; French Rose. Surprising as it it lighter, but it is dark enough on my skin tone to not look like a nude polish.

  

Swatch: ILNP - Eclipse

Eclipse is described as an ultra chrome, jaw droppingly unique and intense. Those are some pretty big claims and it is always going to be subjective. However this is definitely a very shifty polish. I want to try this again over a black base which might make it pop even more. I did end up being distracted when doing boring tasks by this which is always good!
