This is a 10ml bottle of liquid peel off latex barrier for nail art. It is to protect the cuticle and finger from more messy nail art so that the clean up isn't so laborious and time consuming using a brush dipped in acetone. This dries quickly and peels off easily, very simple to use. I have reviewed the standard peel off barrier from Born Pretty Store and that one does have a strong smell to it, this one is completely scent free.

It comes in a box in a nail polish style bottle with a normal brush type applicator. The square lid lifts off to reveal a normal rounded polish bottle handle. I used this to paint the area around my nail. This goes on a lighter pink colour as seen on my ring and pinkie fingers and dries to a darker peach colour as seen on the rest of my fingers.

I will show how I used it below, in some seasonal snowflake nail art.

Once dried on all nails it was time to stamp;

Then to peel off the barrier;

These are the nails after removing the barrier, there was still some clean up to do but not as much as there would have been had I not have used it;

And finally the nails with clean up done;

I like to use a barrier when I am stamping a larger imagine on to my nails, or when doing something which will need a heavy duty clean up such  as a sponged gradient or a water marble. The fact that this version is scent free is a bonus.

I have a discount code if you would like to use it;

Nail Polish Battle 2016: Reds and Berries Polishes

Essie - Fiji // Barry M - Rose Hip // Barry M - Sugar Plum // Champneys - Pink // Barry M - Pomegranate // Essie - Shall We Chalet // Essie - Fishnet Stockings // Essie - Bahama Mama // Nails Inc - Piccadilly Circus // A England - Let Me // OPI - Let Your Love Shine

While there were a few different options to chose in this section I ended up with a Barry M, Nails Inc and A England. The first two are very much berry toned cream polishes and the last a holographic.

The winner is Let Me In, a berry holographic. It is very almost a one coater, what I like is how this is definitely a berry tone rather than leaning too far to either pink or red.

Nail Polish Battle 2016: Random Polishes

Barry M - Mustard // Sally Hansen - Carnivale // Barry M - Paprika // Barry M - Chilli

These polishes didn't seem to fit in any particular category. The winner though is this burnt, spicy red, which is great for the autumn. There is a hint of orange in there too, quite a unique colour as are both mustard and paprika.

Nail Polish Battle 2016: Purple Polishes

Over the past year the purple polishes seem to have been the colour which I have gotten the most of.

Essie - Virgin Snow // Barry M - Vintage Violet // Barry M - Berry Cosmo // Leighton Denny - Raspberry Affair // Nails Inc - Clarence Avenue // Champneys - Plum // Champneys - Mulberry // Sally Hansen - Plum Luck // W7 - Chocolate Pudding // Barry M - Nightshade // NYC - West Village

Breaking down this category was difficult, I ended up with Nails Inc, Sally Hansen and a Barry M. All are darker purple colours.

Clarence Avenue won however because Nails Inc have the best brushes in my opinion. Flat and wide with a curved cuticle which means little to no clean up with is great. This polish is clearly purple where as the other two are very dark, especially the Barry M one, it almost looks black.

Nail Polish Battle 2016: Nude and Grey Polishes

 Champanys - Nude // Nails Inc - Green Park Mews // Nails Inc - St Alban's Grove // Essie - Cocktail Bling // Barry M - Chai // OPI - Liv In The Gray // OPI - No More Mr Night Sky

While nude polishes have there place in my collection, they aren't something I prefer especially comparing them to darker colours. I really like the flat, curved cuticle brush on the Essie polish. It is a good opaque cream.

However Liv In The Gray is the winner, a dark grey colour which isn't dark enough to make it mistakable for a black.

Stamping Plate: MoYou - 417 (Xmas Style Design)*

Review-MoYou-417-xmas-style-stamping-plate

This rectangle stamping plate is from MoYou and has 20 single nail images on it. It has a plastic backing to protect you from sharp metal edges.

All of the designs stamped across well, the random splodge on the trick or treat pumpkin was my fault as I got the stamper covered in extra polish. Some of the images are also on the round plate MoYou 94.

Here are a couple of designs I have done using this plate:
