Nails: Top 5 Summer Polishes 2024

Summer Solstice is tomorrow and so I'm sharing my top summer polishes for 2024. These are the polishes from my collection I will be reaching for more often.

Color Club Pucci-licious // Barry M Wild Fig // Orly Rinse and Repeat // Color Club Twiggie // Orly Glowstick

Pucci-licious is showing up lighter below but the bottleshot is more colour accurate. It is a bright, almost neon purple cream.

Wild Fig is a bright almost neon shade, not a barbie pink but still bright.

Rinse and Repeat is a bright summer-y blue shade.

Twiggie is showing up much more bleached in the swatch below, it is a bright spring green cream.

Glowstick is again not showing up colour accurate, it is a highlighter yellow, very neon and bright cream.

Nail Polish Battle 2023: Pink

Pink is my least favourite polish colour, but I still ended up adding 10 to my collection;

Barry M Peony // Essie Lovey Dovie // Orly Meet Cute // Barry M Calla Lily // Orly Check Yes or No // Barry M Wild Fig // Orly Oh Darling // Barry M Poinsettia // OPI Charmed I'm Sure // OPI Feelin' Berry Glam

The top three from the pink polishes are below, the photo makes them look lighter than they are;

Meet Cute is a salmon pink cream, I like the Orly lids and the brushes they make the polish easy to apply.

In second place is Oh Darling, which is a bright mixture of pink and red.

The winner of the pink polishes is Poinsettia, a deep pink which has some purple in it too. The brush on Barry M Gelly polishes are wide and have a rounded cuticle which is my preference.

Wild Fig is very similar to Pink Punch, the next closest is colour would be Strawberry Cheesecake but more so Pink Punch. I have compared the three below.
