Nail Polish Battle 2016: Random Polishes
Barry M - Mustard // Sally Hansen - Carnivale // Barry M - Paprika // Barry M - Chilli
These polishes didn't seem to fit in any particular category. The winner though is this burnt, spicy red, which is great for the autumn. There is a hint of orange in there too, quite a unique colour as are both mustard and paprika.

Nail Polish Battle 2016: Purple Polishes
Over the past year the purple polishes seem to have been the colour which I have gotten the most of.
Breaking down this category was difficult, I ended up with Nails Inc, Sally Hansen and a Barry M. All are darker purple colours.
Clarence Avenue won however because Nails Inc have the best brushes in my opinion. Flat and wide with a curved cuticle which means little to no clean up with is great. This polish is clearly purple where as the other two are very dark, especially the Barry M one, it almost looks black.

Nail Polish Battle 2016: Glitter Polishes
I'm not huge on glitter polishes, so it was quite easy to eliminate a few glitters coming down to the top three. Nails Inc is a great topper, perhaps a little gimmicky in that you have to shake it like a snow globe but still pretty. The other two polishes are opaque in two coats.
Dazzle wins this round because it is particularly appropriate at this time of year. Unlike Haute Tub you can tell at a glace that it is sparkly rather than being almost a blackened colour.

Nails: Top 5 Autumn / Fall Polishes 2016
Here are my top five nail polish for autumn 2016, if you are interested you can see the 2015 version, 2014 version and 2013 version.
Sally Hansen - Carnivale 843 // OPI - Cosmo with a Twist // OPI - Liv in the Gray // Barry M - Paprika // Nails Inc - Hyde Park Court
First up is Sally Hansen's Carnivale, a cremé finish orange. Which is always a useful choice around Halloween.
On my index finger I have OPI's Cosmo with a Twist, a duochrome, a blackened, purple, blue shade. A dark enough shade which is a little special and it isn't annoying to remove like a traditional glitter.
Back with the cremé finish polishes and I have OPI Liv in the Gray, this is easier to wear than a black or some of the other autumnal shades I have chosen for this year. A dark neutral if that exists!
On my ring finger I have Barry M's Paprika, again on point for the time of year. Red tinged brown, burnt orange colour, looking deep red in some lights and light brown in others.
