Swatch: Barry M - Sour Apple Confetti

This is a Confetti aka a bar glitter polish from Barry M, as you can see it has both aqua and lime bar glitters in a clear base. Sour Apple is from the Summer 2013 Confetti Collection. I chose to layer it over Key Lime because I thought they would go well together which they do, this one would go really well over a black too.

The polish went on well and the above photo shows one coat. I found I had to dab a little bit to get a good covering of the glitter but nothing too complicated. The finish was slightly bitty but nothing a topcoat can't smooth over. You could build this up to get a full coverage if you wanted to do so.

Sour Apple is similar (possible dupe) to Nails Inc's Brighton Feather polish.

Time Era Challenge: 1990's

Today I am channelling the 90's, in all there pearlescent french tipped glory! Not something I would wear and I actually doubt anyone would wear the french tip in this fashion anymore.

Stamping Plate: Bundle Monster 14

This stamping plate is from the first Bundle Monster set, it is backed with branded lining to stop it from being sharp. This is exceptionally handy, without it it is easy to slice open your fingers and palms.

So far so good with the stamping of this plate and the rest of the Bundle Monster plates in this set. I think the cupcake is cute and so is the snowflake and the roses. If you were wanting to see some other designs I have used this plate in then feel free to click here.

Nerd Nail Challenge: Math

A little late for this challenge but this one is being hosted here and this one is based around Nerd / Geek based themes. Thanks to SpecialGirlNails I am now joining in with this challenge. I am not really impressed with my topcoat smudging the white. Not a good look!

I first saw this as a tutorial from CutePolish on YouTube, and thought I ought to give it a go as it has been a while since I freehanded some leopard print nails. I think it worked great other than the topcoat smudging on my ring finger, plus I much prefer purple to pink!
