Sunday Stamping: Alter Ego Mani*

This weeks prompt was to do a design which isn't something you usually would wear. I chose to use a glitter bomb polish from OPI called Desperately Seeking Sequins* which as pretty as glitter polishes are I don't tend to wear them, so it tied in well with the prompt. I stamped some black chevrons over a silver base of OPI's My Silk Tie* using MoYou 128.

Desperately Seeking Sequins and My Silk Tie were kindly sent by JustMyLook. They sell nail polish, OPI, Morgan Taylor and CND Vinlux and have free UK delivery.

Sunday Stamping: Over a Holo Base

For this I used A England's Sleeping Palace on my thumb, fore finger and middle finger. Then used Encore Margot on my ring finger and little finger before stamping over those two with Sleeping Palace.

MoYou Nails have recently released a new batch of stamping plates. I have used the brand before and have purchased plates from them before, you can see my reviews on their other plates here. This plate was sent for reviewing purposes, which won't effect my opinion.

 

As you can see the plates come in a cellophane package and have a blue plastic layer to protect the plate in transit. The plates are fully backed as well with the website address, this is useful as it also means no sharp edges.

These full nail images measure at 15mm x 18mm.

 

Below is the images stamped on to white paper. They all stamped well if a little wonky thanks for my squishy stamper I was using. The chevrons and striped images are really useful as manual placing of striping tape or stickers to get the same look is very fiddly and stamping is so much easier I find.
