Nail Polish Battle 2018: Pink

Today I am looking back on the pink polishes I have gained during 2018. For some unknown reason I have an extra nine this year!

OPI - The Color That Keeps On Giving // OPI - It's A Girl // OPI - Princesses Rule // OPI - You're Such a Budapest // OPI - Strawberry Margarita // BPS - All About Rose // Barry M - Nutmeg // OPI - A Rose At Dawn Broke By Noon // A England - Peaseblossom Fairy

My top three are;

BPS - All About Rose // Barry M - Nutmeg // A England - Peaseblossom Fairy

BPS - All About Rose, is a lavender toned pink polish. Nice background polish for nail art.

Barry M - Nutmeg is more of a nude tone pink polish. The formula on this polish is great, and the brush is flat, wide and rounded at the cuticle.

And the winner of the pink polishes is A England - Peaseblossom Fairy, I really like this polish, especially for a pink! It is really quite vivid and holographic in finish.

Nail Polish Battle 2018: White and Nude

Today I am looking back over the white and nude polishes from 2018.

W7 - White 34 // Barry M - Coconut // Barry M - Cream Soda // Barry M - Butterscotch Sundae // OPI - Taupe-less Beach

Next I selected my top three;

W7 - White 34 // Barry M - Cream Soda // OPI - Taupe-less Beach

W7 - White 34, white polishes aren't something I would wear as is, however they are great for nail art or as a base. This one is opaque in two coats and has a whopping 15ml inside.

OPI - Taupe-less Beach, this is a traditional beige shade. Really not much to say about it, I chose it for the top three because it was the darkest polish there!

The winner of this round is Barry M - Cream Soda, I chose this because it is a clean white shade, opaque in two coats and the brush type is flat, wide and rounded at the cuticle which makes application very easy and not streaky.

Nail Polish Battle 2018: Grey

Today I am going over the grey polishes I have gotten during 2018.

OPI - Ornament To Be Together // A England - Jane Morris // A England - Moth A Fairy // OPI - Coalmates // OPI - Top The Package With A Beau // Revlon - Talk Dirty

First thing is to work out my top three;

A England - Jane Morris // A England - Moth A Fairy // OPI - Coalmates

A England - Jane Morris is a mid grey holographic polish. I really like how it is prismatic but not in your face bright.

OPI - Coalmates is a metallic charcoal shade, with some scattered holographic particles.

And the winner is: A England - Moth A Fairy! This polish is deeper in tone than Jane Morris, but equally as holographic. A dark grey, moody, holographic polish.

Nail Polish Battle 2018: Yellow, Gold, Beige

Seeing it is almost the end of 2018 it is time for my annual nail polish battle. I find it interesting to look back over the year at the new polishes I have gotten and seeing which ones are my favourites.

So since last years nail polish battle I have 63 new nail polishes which is 10 more than last year.. Oops! Today I am looking at yellow, gold and beige ones.

China Glaze - Werk It Honey! // OPI - Gift of Gold Never Gets Old // ELF - Glamour Girl // Barry M - Sunburst // Barry M - Ginger // A England - Briarwood

The first thing was to work out my top three;

China Glaze - Werk It Honey is a almost opaque in one coat, not something I would wear as is but something I have gotten quite a lot of wear from in the form of nail art this year.

Barry M - Sunburst, is a peach holographic polish. Originally when I saw this release I decided I didn't need it, however once I had seen it in store I changed my mind because it would be unique to my collection.

And the winner is, A England - Briarwood! I chose this as the winner as it is darker than the others, something I have been wearing recently and it is a beautiful autumnal holographic polish.
