Nail Polish Battle 2025: Winner!

Finally today I am working out my favourite nail polish to enter my collection in 2025.

My top three were;

Rogue Happiest Day on Earth // Rogue Twinkling Vibes // Orly Light My (Camp) Fire^

In third place was Light My (Camp) Fire^, a very glowy orange shimmer polish;

Choosing between the top two was very difficult, however in second place is Twinkling Vibes a blurple base and purple, cyan and magenta flakies;

Meaning in top place, the winner is Happiest Day on Earth is a bright punchy blue polish with blue, aqua and black flakies;

  

Nail Polish Battle 2025: Top Six

So today we are looking at the winners from the previous battle posts, there was six categories and so six winners. Surprisingly three of the winners were Rogue Lacquer polishes;

Fancy Gloss Midori Sour // Rogue Happiest Day on Earth // Rogue Twinkling Vibes

Orly Light My (Camp) Fire^ // Rogue Arson // ILNP Roulette

Midori Sour, is a bright green polish with a strong blue contrasting shimmer;

Arson is a multichrome crackle polish which is very unique;

Roulette is a copper, black, magnetic polish with a scatted holo;

 

However, as much as I like the above polishes the top three of 2025 are;

Happiest Day on Earth is a bright blue polish with blue, aqua and black flakies;

Twinkling Vibes has a blurple base and purple, cyan and magenta flakies;

Light My (Camp) Fire had been on my wishlist since 2022, it is a orange base with a strong golden shimmer to it;

And the final post will be after 25th once I have finally decided on which of the top three are the actual winner of my 2025 polishes!

  

Nail Polish Battle 2025: Purple

There were 13 new purple polishes this past year;

Orly Rollin With My Homies^ // Orly Shut Up Heather^ // Orly Stay Rad^ // Orly How Tragic^ // Rogue Twinkling Vibes // Ethereal Midsummer Eve // Barry M Purple Rain // Orly Now or Boucle-ter^ // Orly Faux Fir^ // ILNP After Hours // Orly I'll Misty You^ // Orly Oh My Stars^ // Orly Grunge Glam^

The top three were Shut Up Heather^ a vivid purple, After Hours a black based blue magnetic and the winner;

The winner was Twinkling Vibes, a blurple based flakie, Rogue are well known for their flakie bombs;

  

Nail Polish Battle: Miscellaneous

This is the last battle, and the category is everything that didn't fit elsewhere. There was 17 polishes in this battle;

KbShimmer Ex-Static // Orly On A Break^ // Orly Bohemian Child^ // Orly Chillax^ // Barry M Silver Stardust // Barry M Lavender Lights // Mooncat Fool's Gold // Orly Lost in the Maize^ // Orly Acid Trip^ // Orly Party Popper^ // Rogue Arson // Barry M Aqua Aura // Chamaeleon Little Mermaid // ILNP Mad House // ILNP Radioactive // Cirque Mood Ring // Emily de Molly Shadow Brew

Working out my top three wasn't too difficult, I ended up going with a photoreactive / solar polish, a duochrome crackle and a magnetic.

In third place is Shadow Brew, it doesn't look that good in the photo but as I wore it velvetised there was a good flip between black base and the aubergine shimmer;

Second place is Arson, its a duochrome crackle which I've not seen before;

Which means the winner is Little Mermaid, my second solar reactive polish. I don't often buy them because like thermals the pigments die. I like this polish in both forms so whichever it dies in I will still wear. It transitioned really fast in the summer sun and I would wear it more often but its not often sunny, particularly this time of year in Northern England.

Nail Polish Battle 2025: Pink and Red

Today I am looking at the seven pink and red polishes that came into my collection this year;

Orly GRLPWR^ // Orly Yeah, For Sherpa^ // Orly Leather You Like It Or Not^ // Orly Spice Up Your Life^ // Orly We Flannel-ly Made It^ // Orly Cran-Barely Believe It^ // ILNP Roulette

Pink and Red's aren't something I really enjoy wearing and so working out my top three was easy;

Orly Yeah, For Sherpa^ // Orly Cran-Barely Believe It^ // ILNP Roulette

For some reason my photos above weren't colour accurate, if I am to wear a pink it would be Yeah, For Sherpa;

Between the top two I think that Roulette is the winner, a magnetic, holo, copper polish;

 

  

Nail Polish Battle 2025: Nude, Orange, Pink and Yellow

Today I am sharing the 14 polishes that are nude, orange, pink or yellow.

There were a lot of polishes to whittle down in this category, nude and yellow polishes were easy to remove but the oranges were harder. In the top three there was a cream, a holo and a shimmer;

But for me the winner had to be Light My (Camp) Fire^, it is a deep orange base with a bright copper shimmer which really does look glowy;
