Pick n' Mix 52 Week Challenge: Oceanic + 3 Neons

The ocean and neons aren't something which would traditionally go together. The way I tried to make the two go together was by using the neons as a very small micro French tip, over the wave stamping,

With it being summer I thought I would go for something neon. I used two Color Club's Twiggie and Wham Pow which are both from April 2012. I used the bag dab / cling film / saran wrap method, the colours were so neon my camera had problems picking them up.

So while it isn't technically 'Summer' until 21st June it is near enough for the challenge in Adventures in Stamping this week to be summer nails.

GOT: Neon

The neon polishes I have used are both Color Club's, Twiggie and Wham Pow! Which I have owned since April 2012. I wanted to try out the negative space nail trend as well.

I seem to have gone for various geometric shapes in this manicure. Very orange too!

Nail Polish: Battle of the Polishes - Neons

Not being too much of a fan of neons this round was quick and the winner easily decided on.

I had to choose three and so easily ended up with the following:

Not being a fan of the neon, I didn't have much of an opinion. In the end Wham Pow won because Mrs Robinson needs multiple coats to reach the right opacity  Wham Pow is neon, can be a one coater and is incredible vibrant.

 

Halloween Nail Challenge: Nail Craze Replication

This is the last challenge from the Halloween Nail Challenge being held by Nail Tarts. Replicate your favourite design, well I really liked a lot of the designs I have seen. I ended up choosing to copy a witch design done by Nail Craze with Dayze.

Halloween Challenge: Trick or Treat!

First challenge from the Crumpet's Halloween 2012 Nail Challenge.

Thought I would go for a orange water marble, only my third attempt and there is a few dodgy bits but still looks quite 'trick or treat' I think.
