Swatch: Models Own - Gold Rush

I was contacted by Littlewoods to review a couple of Models Own nail polishes, my first thought was I didn't even know they sold cosmetics! But apparently they do along with Barry M, OPI, Nails Inc, Butter London, Bourjois, Rimmel and NYX and as we all know it is vitally important to know of all nail polish outlets and in this case nailcare products at Littlewoods.

On to the nail polish, this one is Gold Rush (NP 106).

Colour: Gold
Finish: Glassflecked rather than a foil
Opacity: Two coats
Brush Type: Standard
How Much? 14ml

I'm not sure if this colour really works with my skin tone, but I imagine on a deeper skin tone it would look amazing. So I thought I would use Gold Rush as a base for a bit of nail art:

[sent for reviewing purposes, this doesn't affect my honest opinion]

Sunday Stamping: Lilac Base

As the title suggests this weeks challenge was to stamp over a lilac base, I used ELF's Lilac.

Nails: Under the Sea

I did these nails a while back, I think that they look almost under the sea like. I wish I'd went on to do some nail art on top of this, perhaps Finding Nemo.

Time Period Challenge: Imperial China

This week's time challenge was Imperial China, I based my nail art around the Qing Dynasty Flag from 1889. Which was the last imperial dynasty of China. I was trying out a new nail art brush but it didn't seem to have a fine enough tip for what I wanted to do here.

Nails: Polka Dots and Bows

Base Polishes: Sally Hansen - Delphinium and First Kiss, Revlon - Cloud, ELF - Mint Cream, W7 - Sheer Lemon.
Nail Tattoos: Fake Tattoos

Stamping Plate: Bundle Monster 08

This stamping plate is from the first Bundle Monster set, it is backed with branded lining to stop it from being sharp.

All of the designs stamp well, even the delicate chandler design. Out of the seven designs I think I like the anchor the best, which do you like?

You can see some of the nail designs I have done using this plate here if you like.

It's Enigmatic Rambles' 3rd Birthday!

Sunday Stamping: Shoes Inspired

The challenge today was to do nails which were inspired by your favourite shoes. These have to be my favourite shoes, they were the ones I wore when I got married. I have lots of shoes I have gotten throughout the years but I always end up wearing the same couple of pairs.

Base Polish: W7 - Black

Nails: Fast Food Challenge - Greggs

Another challenge, and this time it is from SheWhoDoesNails here. I decided to go for Greggs as there is a Greggs practically on every street here, being the home of Greggs the Bakers.

I did a Sausage Roll and a Pasty as well as the logo...

Nail Art: Holiday

I started by painting my nails ELF Yellow, then sponged on ELF Party Peach and ELF Black to get the gradient, I did a tutorial on how to do this here if you are interested. Then I went on to stamp the designs using W7 Black and the following stamping plates; Bundle Monster BM315 and BM310, B22 and M71.

Swatch: Kleancolor - Metallic Pink (158)

Originally bought this polish for stamping with, which is does work perfectly for.

Colour: Bright pink
Finish: Metallic
Opacity: One coater
How Much? 15ml

Something I did notice about this polish is it changes colour when you apply a clear top coat, similar to the Barry M Chameleon polishes and the China Glaze Tranzitions.
