This is the second month of a new nail challenge, you are set three colours and you select three polishes to represent each colour. Four days, four different manicures using said polishes. I ended up doing this for the final challenge:

Time Period Challenge: Medieval

A medieval challenge and my first thought was of castles and fighting on horse back, and so here is my castle nails.

Nails: St. George's Day

Another year, another Saint George's Day manicure! You can see the ones I did last year here, thought I would try something a little more complex this time around.

Review: ELF - Nail Polish Set - Beautifully Bright

Finally ELF has some new nail polish colours which aren't variants of pink! This collection is called Beautifully Bright and that is exactly what it is, bright and perfect for wearing this spring / summer.

First up we have a orange / peach colour called Party Peach. This is two coats which covered perfectly, I can see a very subtle glass flecked shimmer in there but it is very subtle. ELF do have two other polishes of a similar colour family, Mango Madness and Fire Coral. You can now purchase this polish as a single polish.

The second polish is a yellow, cream polish, which was certainly missing from ELF's range. This is two coats and it looked fine to my eye but under the harsh photo flash it does look slightly streaky, but I imagine another thin coat would solve that.

And finally we have Teal Blue which is also available in a full sized bottle. Again this is two coats and it seems enough for the full effect. This is a cream polish. I did a post about this in a full sized bottle recently here.

All polishes are smaller 6ml, than the standard 10ml ELF polish. However they are really easy to use and the brush doesn't actually seem smaller or more complex to work with. I actually think it could be the same size brush as in the standard sized bottles.

Sunday Stamping: Earth Day

Earth Day 2013 is actually tomorrow, however the challenge was to do nails inspired by earth day. I did these using the cling film / saran wrap method and stamped between the layers, although it has came up quite subtle.

Really pretty polish, more of a mint cream though than a teal blue.

Time Period Challenge: Ancient Rome

The nails I have attempted to do really don't do ancient Rome justice. I kept failing every attempt at this and this was the fourth attempt at something. I did want to do the roman wall but I just couldn't get it right. Anyhow this is supposed to be Caesars laurel wreath, some grapes and the roman shield.

Stamping Plate: Bundle Monster 07

This stamping plate is from the first Bundle Monster set, it is backed with branded lining to stop it from being sharp. 

All of the designs stamped really easily, I think I like the filigree pattern the best from this plate. If you were wanting to see some other designs I have used this plate in then feel free to click here.

Sunday Stamping: Spring Colours

Another Sunday rolled around and I have no idea where this week went! Far too much stress! Anyhow on to the nails which is of course what you all came to see, the challenge was spring colours and this green I thought was a nice basic spring time colour. A bit of a ornithological theme.
