Halloween Nails: Holographic Orange

Last month Rainbow Connection sold Uberchic's If You've Got it Haunt it, a bright orange holographic polish. I was tempted but remembered I've a topcoat to turn any polish holographic. These didn't turn out too bad but I think using Barry M Mango would have made the base brighter as with the Uberchic.

Topic Tuesday: Favourite Toppers for Autumn

Autumn calls for flakies, and flakies that are matte. Fancy Gloss Magma is a nice autumnal one, has all of the colours leaves go in autumn. Nail Pop Sequin is another orange based flakie, similar to Magma but without so many colours leans more to the green side of the spectrum.

Stamping Plate: Beauty Big Bang 01 - Halloween

As October is upon us I thought it was time to review some of my Halloween themed stamping plates. This one I bought myself, if I was sent a plate to review I will always put an asterisk [*] in the blog title.

This Halloween themed plate comes in a cardboard slip cover, and with a blue protective plastic wrap on too. The back of the plate comes branded.

It comes with four full nail designs and about seven smaller images. All of the images stamped across really well, below are two of the nail designs I have used this plate in;

Topic Tuesday: Unconventional Autumnal Polishes

I think for me an unconventional polish for autumn could be holographics because particularly here (northern England) there isn't a lot of bright sunlight for around six months. Holo's do look amazing in direct sunlight so that is why it may be unconventional.
