Colour Me Crazy: Green
For today's green challenge I decided to use OPI's Live and Let Die and Rimmel's Camouflage. I think the technique I used is called cloud nails.

Nails: Top 5 Autumn / Fall Polishes 2013
I did a post similar to this for the spring, now that the seasons have officially changed I thought it was time to share my top five polishes for Autumn.
First is a gorgeous berry polish, it leans towards the pink side in the sunlight but there is less of that around now it is autumn and so generally is a purple berry colour - Barry M Raspberry
Next is Orly Fowl Play, I don't wear this polish nearly enough! It is a deep purple in colour with green, red duochrome flakies running through it. With the flakies changing colour it is almost reminiscent or fireworks.
Another dark one, this is Models Own Emerald Black which is a blackened green a duochrome polish. Reminds me of those black beetles which have a beautiful green colour despite them being a disturbing sight to see in your house.
Autumn is all about the nights getting longer and the darkness and wrapping up warm. This polish is another duochrome (bit of a pattern here), a burgundy colour which changes to a royal purple colour depending on where the light is shining on it, Rimmel Metal Rush Purple Reign.
Finally we have a metallic orange polish, Sinful Colors Courtney Orange, great for those nails around Halloween time. Even if you were to wear black polish with this as a ring finger accent nail it would look great. A nod to the changes in the colours of the leaves on the trees. It is a lot more wearable than you would imagine, and perfect as a base for some nail art.

Sunday Stamping: Fairy Tail Nails
Earlier this week I did some nails where I avoided doing faces as I'm not good at them. Proven here! I think my favourite nail is the Disney castle, holographic hex glitters and holographic glitter topcoat.

Nail Polish: Battle of the Greens
For some unknown reason I have quite a selection of green polishes! Green isn't even a favourite colour of mine, so this was quite a surprise even though I sit and look at my polishes most days when choosing what to paint on my nails.
ELF - Teal Blue, Kleancolor - Metallic Green, MUA - Green, Maxfactor - Graffiti, Yes Love - 408, 17 - Peacock, Rimmel - Camouflage Nails Inc - Electric Teal, Miss Sporty - Rain Drops, Barry M - Racing Green, Sleek - Poison Ivy, Models Own - Emerald Black, W7 - Metallic Neptune, NYX - Robotic, OPI - Unripened
Thinning down the 15 polishes wasn't as difficult as I imagined as Yes Love - 408 and 17 - Peacock Green are dupes. Models Own - Emerald Green and W7 - Metallic Neptune are dupes and NYX - Robotic and OPI - Unripened are dupes also.
Another battle round and making the final two were Max Factor - Graffiti which is a beautiful glass flecked mid green and W7 - Metallic Neptune, which is a black green duochrome, similar to a common black ground beetles back.

The winner is the blackened green, how could a blackened shade not win! W7 - Metallic Neptune in all it's duochrome amazingness. What is there not to like!
