Finish: A glitter polish in a off white base, glitter is in standard shape and is red and black.

Opacity: Two coats

Brush Type: Wide and flat.

Anything Else? Unless you like a bumpy finish you will need two coats of top coat and it dries quickly

Challenge for today was to do a jungle or parrot nails, which took me forever!

Swatch: W7 - Mosaic

Finish: A glitter polish in a light blue base, glitter is in standard shape and is navy, green and gold.
Opacity: Two coats
Brush Type: Wide and flat.

Anything Else? Unless you like a bumpy finish you will need two coats of top coat.

Something very important when gardening, which is the challenge for today is remembering to water your plants.

Swatch: Barry M - Chameleon Lilac

This a polish which when you paint a topcoat on it changes colour. In the photo I painted French tips on with a top coat. So you start off with a base coat and then a coat or two of the metallic finish polish.

Summer Nail Challenge: Jubilee Party!

I won't be attending any Jubilee Street Parties or any celebrations, but that won't stop me stepping up to the challenge and having a go at some relevant nail art.

Summer Nail Challenge: Swimming Pool

Something different today in the shape of a swimming pool, freehand nail art isn't one of my strong points!

Tutorial: Great British Flag

This tutorial is quite rushed as I am in a hurry to get this post out there before the Jubilee weekend.

1) After using a base coat paint all nails in a blue polish, I used Models Own - True Blue

2) Try and paint a cross on top of the blue using a white polish, I used Barry M's - Matte White

3) Using the same polish drag some diagonal lines in the gaps of the previous cross

4) Most complicated part, paint a fine line down the diagonal cross lines. I used Eyeko - Saucy

5) With the same polish paint another cross over the larger one in the middle. Once that is dried paint on a top coat to help smooth out the polish from being a little bumpy. Tidy up any mishaps and you are done!
